  1. The Entrance Test will be held at 10 centers namely Delhi, Jammu, Srinagar, Lucknow, Guwahati, Malappuram (Kerala), Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad, & Patna. 
  2. There would be a Written Test comprise of General Studies (objective type) on UPSC's model  (In English/Hindi/Urdu) and Essay Writing in English/Hindi/Urdu to test candidates' paradigm of knowledge of general awareness, logical thinking, reasoning, and comprehension. 
  3. The total duration of the test would be of three hours.
  4. There would be a negative mark-based examination for objective-type questions in the test. One-third of the marks will be deducted for a wrong answer.
  5. The entrance test paper would be divided into two different sections or paper- Paper-I would be consist of OMR-based objective type questions. There would be 60 questions and the total marks for this section would be 60 (60*1). 
  6. Paper-II consists of Essay Writing for which the total allotted marks would be 60. The candidates have to write two essays (30*2=30) choosing one from each section-A & section-B.
  7. The total time allotted for both the papers would be three hours. however, the OMR sheet would be collected after one hour. The rest time would be given to the other paper.
  8. The candidates can take the question paper with them.
  9. The essay of the top 1500 candidates will be evaluated based on the MCQ test's mark (Paper-I).
  10.  The total marks for the Interview/Personality test would be 30 (thirty).
  11. In case of a tie, the higher marks in the interview would be taken as the basis of selection. If there is still a tie, the younger candidates (age-wise) will get the preference.
  12. The selected candidates would be availed of the lodging facility in Sports Complex in Jamia Millia Islamia as per the University Rules & Guidelines for its students.

Who Can Apply

  1. Candidates who completed their graduation and who are eligible for CSE Examination 2022 can only apply.
  2. A candidate can't appear in the entrance exam or test if he/she could not appear for a civil services interview (UPSC) for the last three years with the availed facility of RCA, JMI. 
  3. A candidate belonging to Minorities, SCs, STs, and Women of all categories can have the chance to apply the same.

Exam Pattern & Events

  1. Coaching will include (a) classes on General Studies, CSAT, and selected papers (b) Test Series, answer's evaluation, and essay writing practice shall form as part of the curriculum.
  2. The Institution will also conduct Mock Interviews for those who qualified for the main examination.
  3. Test Series (Prelims) will be held from January 2022 to April 2022.
  4. Test Series (Main) will be held from June to September 2022.
