As with last year, this year also will not be any exam due to the pandemic for the session 2021-23. Applicants will just have to apply the form with having certain criteria and based on all that academic marks will be prepared merit list finally.
By following some counseling sessions, the admission procedure would be complete by 18th October 2021.

Bihar D.El.Ed Admission 2021-23: Eligibility Criteria in Detailed Provision
- For the admission cum registration, the candidate should have at least 50% aggregate marks in Intermediate or +2 in the general case, otherwise, candidates belonging from SCs/STs/PwDs would be given relaxation by 5% i.e at least 45% needed.
- Urdu aspirants should have at least 50% with a Moulvi degree. PwDs can apply with the criteria by relaxation of 5% i.e at least 45% needed.
- As NCTE approved and issued the detailed guidelines for the admission cum registration form this year; 5% of the total seats would be reserved for PwD candidates.
- For Urdu applicants, 10% of total seats would be reserved for the empowerment of the Urdu language.
- As NCTE approved & strictly instructed that 50% of total seats will be allocated to the Arts/Commerce and the rest 50% seats would be availed to the Science stream candidates.

Bihar D.El.Ed Admission 2021-23: Selection Procedure & Reservation Policy
- For the completion of the admission procedure, the final merit list would be released after equating the ratio of both i.e 10th & 12th percentage of marks.
- If in certain cases, where a candidates score or is ranked with the same merit ratio, then qualification would be given as a first preference among the competitors.
- If in certain cases, a candidate's scores or ranks by the same merit ratio & Qualification, then preference would be given age-wise or based on seniority.
- For Urdu candidates, the aggregate ratio would be considered by the addition of both i.e Fouqania & Ustania marks.
- Students having Vocational Course in 10+2 or Intermediate can be applicable to the Arts/Commerce stream in 50% reserved category.
- Students having degrees like ITI, Polytechnic, or Shashtri in their academic record, can't be applicable to the same program.
- Students having degrees like Madhyama by following 10+2 or Intermediate can avail the facility to apply for the same program.
- Same way, Applicants having degrees like Fouqania and by following 10+2 or Intermediate, can avail the opportunity to fill the program.
Bihar D.El.Ed Admission 2021-23: Age Criteria
For the application cum admission purpose, applicants should be aged at least 17 years as of 01st January 2021 for the academic session 2021-23.
Bihar D.El.Ed Admission 2021-23: Other Provisions
- For the acceptance or completion of the admission form, SBI Collect & Bill Desk would be availed as the only approved payment gateway.
- The deposited application fee would be completely Non-refundable.
- The fee should be deposited only in the prescribed mode.
- Once the admission procedure is done, within a week a mail or post will be delivered by the principal to the candidates.
